Local Neighbourhood Team Leader Sgt Ryan Cook said: “We understand that the death of Ann Widdecombe has caused considerable shock, sadness and concern among residents. “We want to reassure you that a dedicated team of local officers continue to work with the community to offer support and assistance. We are also working closely with Ilsington Parish Council, Bovey Tracey Town Council and Teignbridge District Council to ensure you are all supported. “We know that incidents of this nature can understandably make people feel anxious and we continue to encourage anyone with concerns to speak to our neighbourhood officers who will be in and around the area offering that support. “They are there to listen, answer questions where possible, and provide support to residents. “Our officers are part of the community, and we will continue to be there should you need us. “Thanks once again for all your patience and cooperation while this investigation continues. “Please contact us via PC Claire Hurrell, the local Neighbourhood Beat Manager, on 12367@dc.police.uk should you have any questions. “You can also visit victimcare-dc.org to access support services and information.” | ||
